Good, inexpensive scale (4/5) | Jan 20, 2011 | H. Herchen | Los Altos CA US
The best features are the small sample holder, so air currents have less effect, and the nice easy to read display. A large, easy to assemble enclosure comes with the scale if needed. The scale has a printer port, but nobody at the company that makes the scale seems to know how to use it. So we had to write our own program to collect data. There is some drift (about 0.010 grams) over the first 15 minutes of the scale warming up, but after that, drift is small to negligible. The tare button is easy to confuse with the zero button, and the two shouldn't be next to each other. We have purchased nineteen of them.
Great scale (5/5) | Nov 18, 2009 | Andrew Logan | CA
I just got this scale a month or so ago and have used it quite a few times since. It seems very well built and accurate, and has every feature you could want in a lab scale. Also- the description doesn't say this, but this scale comes with a 50g calibration weight already. |
