NCWM has issued an updated NTEP regulation regarding weighing balances for things like direct sales applications for items such as cannabis. Balances used for this type of transaction should have the same "d" and "e" values.
For example, in the past, many legal for trade balances might have the "d" (value of scale division) be something like 0.1 grams and the "e" (value of verification scale division) would be 1 gram. So, balances might have been capable of having a different readability choice for regular weighing versus legal for trade weighing.
